Reality TV & The Hunger Games

Reality TV shows have quickly become all the rage. Who hasn't sat and watched seemingly normal people be utterly humiliated in front of an audience of millions on national TV? With the humongous popularity of reality TV, society has been greatly affected, in both good and bad ways. Suzanne Collins, author of The Hunger Games, was actually inspired to write this young adult novel, in part, by watching reality TV.
Today,  using the resources provided, you will research reality TV and compare your findings to the ficticious Hunger Games.

  1. On may 31,2000 a show called Survivor became a hit on tv. American idol became hit on tv on june 11, 2002.it seens to get bigger and bigger each year. Fear Facter, Extreme Makever home edition,who want t be a milionaire and amzing race.

    Suzanne Collins is the author of the book series Underland Cronicls.T.H.E is far the best selling book because it is sold in 35 foreign languae.

  2. The hunger games is just like tv because in survivor man he has to hunt for his food. And he had to take care of his fire so that's why i think it's like the hunger games because she has to hunt for her food and take care of her family.
