AWESOME BOOK!!!!!! :)

OMG! This book was absolutely amazing to read, there were all sorts of different messages its hard to pick one. My opinion about the topic of the book when we first starting reading was that it was about family. But when we got further in the book I now realize it was more than just family but love, loyalty, power, freedom and survival. Those were the most used topics in the whole book. I thought, Power, because the Capitol has control over every district and has the most power in all the districts. Freedom, because at the beginning of the book Katniss and Gale wanted to run away and be free of all the control over the districts. Anyways, these are my opinions on the book “The Hunger Games”.

  1. You most certainly have alot of ideas about the themes and topics in the book. What do you think the overall message or lesson Suzanne Collins wanted us to learn from her story?

  2. Well i would have to say the overall message would be to stand up for what you belive in because in the book Katniss states her opinon about the capitol loud and clear and when she thinks somethings not right she says what shes thinking right away.
