I think Reality T.V shows and The Hunger Games can really relate to each other because in the T.V show Jersey Shore, do you think they really look that way when they are not on T.V? Usually every second they are on T.V they have there make up on and dressed all up and on The Hunger Games after the games in the last two chapters when Katniss say " My skin was perfectly smooth not a scar or bruise." because The Capital always has to look good in front of the other districts to tell them that they are in charge and the Jersey Shore cast has to always look like the best!

Emily, why is it that you think appearnace is everything and that people on reality tv shows always have to look their best? To me that's not really reality now is it? If it's reality tv then why pretend or fake what one looks like?

Maybe people try to look their best so they dont get embarassed or maybe because they want to start a new look just to be famous. Either way, like you said Ms.Ferriolo, it's not really reality TV if everyone is trying to look better than normal people. I dont know about anyone else but I honestly hate reality TV.
