  2. I believe that war effect me and alot of other teenagers in our world today, because many people's grandparents, and great grandparents have probably fought in the war and some probably have not come back, so I believe war does effect alot of people, also some real life issues i have been hearing about in the book is hunger and death both of those are issues because if you starve its not that great to be hungry and i hear its painful, anyways death isn't good either because people get sad from it I know if people in your life died that were your friends or family you would probably be sad. -Sam

  3. In my opinion I believe that reality TV does effect me and teenagers, Because for example Jersey Shore that would effect me and teenagers because when we see people on TV acting like they do, going out to party every day and night and drinking until they through up. Some people will start to think it is what cool people do, and there is allot of teenagers that do go out every night and drink till they through up witch may be because they think it is cool cause they see it on reality TV.I can relate this to The Hunger Games because it is tapped live on reality TV so it may make people think that it is OK to fight to the death and kill people.

  4. I think war and violence does affect me and other teenagers because there are so many wars going on and it becomes normal and they think well if it is normal to be in war we can think its all right to do that stuff or violence teens see it every where like TV,communities, and many other places. It's like The Hunger Games because in T.H.G they are being violent by throwing kids in to a arena and making them fight to the death and it's like war because these kids are in a war killing each other till one is left winning it all.

  5. I personally think that war and hunger has affected me and other teenagers. The book has presented a real life issue because in the book the Capitol makes the children fight to the death, so they are making them die just like when the man named Hitler started hating the Jews he tried killing as many as he could just because they had different religions and were different in many other ways. This has affected us because tons of lives were taken which meant a sader time for the world. It made more people sad to lose their loved ones and made the world a worse place. Thats why, in some parts of the world, racism is ilegal.

  7. I think that violonce is the issue that effects me the most becuase now people see violonce on tv so much that when they see it in the real world they wont think anything about it.I think that vilonce effects me most in the book because the whole book is about about kids killing eachother and fighting to the death and the electric fences aruond the districts so the people can't get out without getting killed or injured.

  8. I personally think that competition has affected most teenagers and I because in 2010 the Olympics had happened and LOTS of competition had gone on just for athletes to win gold medals. The Athletes had gone through lots to get the medals so just like Katniss she has to go through everything just to survive. This affects us because we have to go through that practically everyday just to achive our goals to win, to win to be successful in the future.

  9. War and hunger affected me and other teenagers because we are used to seeing people in war and starving people on reality television. I think this book is similar to real life because in the book 'The Hunger Games' there's kids going into the games to fight to death and save there family from starving. Because in real life war is saving Canada from being in danger and from starving.

  10. I think reality War and Violence; is most effective to teenagers because teens get so used to watching something like war and voice that they don’t really care about it any more while the War and Violence is getting worse. The book as mostly affected me by showing me how cruel the world can be to other people

  11. i truly think social class and poverty because kids get bullied for the dumbest things these days! like not wearing the right brand even liking differnt activites!! it has become a HUGE problem in a teenagers life because they dont feel comfertable going out in the world
(confidence)and they dont feel accepted so that might leed to drugs!

  13. I think the theme poverty affects me. I think because in city’s like Africa , Cuba and more are suffering of poverty right now and it makes me think again about wasting or throwing stuff out. Someone once told me that every 5 seconds a kid in Africa dies and it makes me think how lucky i am to have all the stuff I have. This relates to the hunger games because the people in the Districts have very little but the people in the Capital have many things.

  14. I think the theme poverty afects me. I think that plases that are poor me me think how much all of us take the things we have for granted. some people dont even have clean water to drink. This relates to the Hunger Games because in the districts some people are so poor that some of them even die of starvation.

  15. competition is the theme that has affected me and other teenagers because it's about two people or a group of people who go head to head in a competition to see who is better. And sometimes is if it's a life or death situation they end up killing one another. This relates to the hunger games because peeta and katniss are two kids from district twelve and they are going against people from other districts and are trying to kill them.

  16. The value of human life has affected me, because you have to go through life even when you have some ups and downs. You just gotta remember, give what life has to offer and you'll succeed.

  17. the hunger games has effected me because there is so much voilence in the world. we see it so much like on T.V but we dont realy think about the people fighting who have family and friends. this has reminded me how crule war can be.

I do not agree with Kale when he sais ""I think that the hunger games affects me and teenagers in a posative way by knowing that it is the future and not in the present day"" because I pritty sure teens know the future is not the present day they just dont care they will do what ever they want..

I think reality War and Violence; is most effective to teenagers because teens get so used to watching something like war and voice that they don’t really care about it any more while the War and Violence is getting worse. 20. I think that the hunger games affects me and teenagers in a posative way by knowing that it is the future and not in the present day so that we can't be participating in the games. I also think that it affects us in a negative way because of the fact that if we did live in the future we would posably be participating in the games which could make you be against one of your closest friends. 21. The issues that effort me in the Games are War and violence, because people went in the war to fight for there Country's and Katniss and Peeta went in the Games because they got chosen. The two actives are the same because they fight to the death and there's only one winner.

  22. I think violnice affect me and other teenagers in a postive way because it is somting we see all the time so its underlooked. I think the Hunger game gave me a different look on violnice when katniss stated her point on the games and how she wants to stand up but isnt scared about what the capitol will do. I can connect this back to the theme courage in this book. I think it affects us postivly because it show us what can happend if alittle fight breaks out over something not even fighting about breaks out in to a war.

  23. The issues in T.H.G is violence(kids killing kids) is like real live because there is war and violence on T.V, exc. This is affecting teenagers by exposing them to violence game, wars, moves, history, exc. So I thank that we should do something about it or it mite gust get out of hands and we could all die. So my idea is to get kids to reduce as much violence as they can.

  24. The issues in T.H.G is violence kids killing each other. That is really like real life because there is wars going on in Iraq and there is violence on T.V. This is affecting most teenagers by exposing them to viloent video games such as Black Ops and etc such as violet movies and etc. I really think that someone should start standing up to these kinds of people because like David said "it might get out hand",I so agree with him because it will get out of hand if nobody does anything. My idea for that is to get kids to stop playing so many viloent games andn stop watching violent movies and shows.

  25. In my opinion I think that competition affects teenagers in today’s world the most, because people will do anything to win a competition, they will hurt somebody, or they even might kill somebody!! This relates to the Hunger Games because in the Games the People in the different districts that get picked to participate in the Games will kill, hurt, and torture the other participants to win the games. The Games are very violent and competitive. Peoples names randomly get picked out of a bowl and these people fight to the death in a arena to win and go back home to there familes. These people have to be very competitive to win these games and always be able to keep one eye open. Anyways the games and real life are both very competitive events and involve alot of competitive attitude.

This has affected us because tons of lives were taken which meant a sader time for the world and now Great Britain seperated in two. France and Germany. It is like The Hunger Games because the Capitol, like Hitler, is killing others for horrible reasons and the land is seperated in The Hunger Games into 13 other places (the districts).
