1) My building was less stable with the mass placed on the higher floors, it did not stay stable, the building tilted to the side and did not stay up straight like I planned it to.
2) With the 100-g mass on the bottom floor it stood up exactly how it looked before without the mass on it, but as soon as the mass went up each floor it tilted to the side very slightly, and wasn't that unstable but still not as straight as it was without the mass.
3) I noticed ALOT! The structure didn't stay up like it had with the mass in the middle, it was on a slant, VERY unstable. My structure was ready to collapse, but no... My structure had a little bit of a gravity point on the side but still was not stable.
4) The structure of mine could really use some change to it, for it to be a very AWESOME building. I would have made my straws smaller, added a little bit for tape, and maybe but two layers of cardboard on each floor. I think all of those changes would had made it be stable with the mass on the side of it and on the centre of gravity on each floor.
Your observations are very thorough! Well done. I think you are right on with the (slight) changes that need to be done to your structure in order to make it more stable!
