1)Our building is less stable when it is on the higher floors. 2)The center of gravity moves the weight up each floor because it is stable in the middle of each floor. 3)When we moved the weight closer to the edge it fell over because that is not where the center of gravity is. 4) We could use support to make sure the weight is evenly distributed and can stay on the edge and not fall over.
Seems like you guys had to make your building more stable by making it more sturdy with weight. Do you think making the base wider than the rest of your strucutre would help?

me and Dylan structure was less stable when it was on the the higher floors.
ReplyDeleteand when we put the mass on the edges it fell over on every floor.
when the center of gravity moved up each floor it was unstable and it fell over when we got to the to floor.
I would change the stability and i would of put more cardboard And i would of especially used more straws too because we only used like 15 straws
